Microsoft Office PowerPoint (or simply PowerPoint) is the name of a special program designed to create and deliver presentations. PowerPoint was developed by Microsoft and since 1990 has been an integral part of the Microsoft Office suite. PowerPoint was originally developed for Macintosh computers, but later expanded to be used on the Microsoft Windows operating system. To share your presentation, you can record it in video format. This allows you to send it by e-mail, publish it on the Internet or save it to disk. When converting your presentation to a movie, you can add voice-overs, set the timing of the slide show, and even record your pointer movements. You can watch a presentation in this format without PowerPoint; it will play as a video file.

Information in PowerPoint is placed on separate sheets - slides. Each slide can have its own design and size. Information on a slide can be presented in the form of text, images, photos, videos. Each block of information on a slide can be animated. You can also apply animation effects to transitions between individual slides. If you paste pictures into slides using the clipboard (copy-paste), then you are doing it wrong. Use the standard image insertion function. Often, when using the insert method by CTRL + C / CTRL + V, the JPEG image is automatically converted to PNG or BMP format, which is much heavier in itself. Before embedding any image in your presentation, make sure that it does not need editing. Otherwise, first use any third-party editor (Photoshop, Gimp, Paint, etc.) to make edits and only then paste the final version.
